How will my child's knowledge progress in History?

Our History Progression of Knowledge gives an overview of the knowledge covered in each phase and strand and how these skills are developed in order to enable pupils to reach the end of key stage outcomes outlined in the National curriculum.

Below is the structure of our curriculum and the strands that will be developed as your child moves through SDPA - specifically relating to Chronological Awareness, Substantive (abstract) Concepts and Disciplinary Concepts.
